Benjamin landed in Treasury by chance in 2012, and it quickly became his passion. He started his journey with a CAC40 company, in charge of centralizing EMEA-APAC entities into cash pooling, netting and FX processes, then moved to the largest private company in the US where he was leading the Treasury, Trade Finance and Order-to-Cash operations. He is now working for the world’s largest alternative asset manager, in charge of special projects and strategic initiatives.

This gave him the opportunity to take part of 3 TMS implementation as well as one for a trade finance platform, being in charge of FX risk, liquidity solutions implementation with various cash pooling structures, trade finance activities, credit and collection management, but also automation activities such as RPA and various workflow tools to help monitor activities and measure performance, with managerial roles at different levels. He has been board member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers of Luxembourg (ATEL) for several years, in charge of education and the sustainability of the Treasury function. He teaches and co-founded various Treasury Management training programs. He’s also board member of Treasury Master Minds, a global treasury network.

He is a certified Order-To-Cash Manager by The Institute of Finance Management, certified Trade Finance Professional by the ICC Academy, certified Business Accountant by The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and passed various treasury management certifications held at AFTE. He holds a Bachelor in Business Management from Haute Ecole Charlemagne (Belgium).
